Aneirin
Sitting in a file in the Trinsic records office, a scribe scatters a little bit of sawdust over his work in order to suck up the excess ink. As he blows off the ink, he reads aloud his work one last time before filing it away, probably never to be read again. As a young man, he was known as "Little Lord Anny Grace." Even as a child, he openly despised being called Anny, and frequently had his maid servants and nannies beaten as he overheard them talking about him. As he grew older, his cruelty grew from having them beaten to picking up a stick and beating his servants himself. He took to leaving the Grace estate in the evenings and spending his nights in the taverns of Trinsic, gambling and stealing until the morning light. While there is currently no evidence, rumor has it that young Lord Grace partook in ceremonies of the darkest arts, performing unthinkable acts in his desire to find his latest pleasures. Other stories have him as a hunter and a stalker in the night, bringing back such rare things as the Dread Horn's horn or Travesty's eye, yet he would never leave with a hunting party. As his father, the Lord Anton Grace, neared his passing, he disowned the young Aneirin Grace and instead passed his title and lands down to his eldest daughter. This one move changed Aneirin, and he gave up his hickory sticks and maces in favor of a stout bow. When he was last seen in Trinsic, he had vowed revenge against the Lords of the land, no matter where they came from. Nobody in Trinsic has heard from Aneirin since, and he is assumed dead. A few weeks later, a figure very much looking like the former Lord Anny Grace, though more tattered and weatherbeaten, showed up at the Jolly Roger Inn, the headquarters of the United Pirates...
