Cove Orc Fort

 eople had told me stories about an orc
fort near cove, so I planned to visit the place of evil. Easily I found the small village.
A narrow path south of Cove lead to a wooden barricade. Many fighters had gathered here,
and the fort seemed to be cleared of the evil monsters. I took a closer look and walked
through the dirty, terrible area. Piles of bones, litter and waste spread a revolting
stench. |
| Suddenly in one of the last rooms three
orcs appeared and fell upon me, growling in anger. Some bolts and a fire filed put an end
to their desperate attempt. I didn't stay long and soon returned to Vesper, dumping my earnings into the bank box. I thought that I sure would want to return to the orc fort one day. So I grabbed a rune and a mark scroll and marched back to this place. After marking the rune I sat down on my chair by the fireplace and talked to a friend I had met. |

| Suddenly two murderers appeared and
killed me wordlessly. I had crossed styx again without knowing the reason for this evil
deed. Was it just thirst for blood and the lust of killing someone? I didn't understand.
And I never would understand these sick people with their messed brains. However they
didn't get any riches from my corpse. I followed them for some time and watched them killing about six people, one after another, without even gaining any riches. Shaking my head in lack of understanding I left this place and decided never again to return here. |
