On the Vesper Graveyard

Just short before the funeral of Mad Biker took place, the town criers called it out in every city:
"Please come pay thy last respects for Sage Humbolt at the library in Britain. Sage Humbolt sacrificed his life to save the realm. Come say thy farewells!"
So I went there as soon as possible, to show my respect to the glorious deeds of the sage, who gave his live to destroy the liches Lathiari and Kyrnia. His coffin was surrounded by flowers, and some of his books were exposed nearby on a table.

After sending a prayer to the gods, I headed directly to the graveyard of Vesper, to make the preparations for the funeral of Mad Biker.

I put the book with Mad Biker's last words in front of the frage and arranged some torches. I was thinking a lot about the poem, Mad Biker had written with trembling hands, and I planned to read it after the ceremony.

Dear guests and visitors!

We art gathered hither to say farewell to Mad Biker, a good friend, reliable companion and fighter for justice and peace. I will honor him one last time before his ashes will be gone with the wind and blown across ye green meadows of Britannia.

Mad Biker, thou didst fight and give thy life for thine only goal: Tolerance, honesty and freedom. Thy noble intention did not fail with thine woeful death. Gag me with a spoon, no! Thy path will be continued by thine heir McBykar, and hopefully all those who helped and aided thee once.

We all know thou wouldst desire now to thank all the loyal friends who wert thy companions. Let me do it for thou with this. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU!!! You were the best friends one could wish to have!
I also know thou wouldst wish us now to be merry again and celebrate, for thou now have entered a better world.

We will keep thou in our memory. Fare thee well, Mad Biker! May ye Gods of Britannia guide thee on thine paths!

Earth to earth
Ashes to ashes
Dust to dust

Thou didst give me a book with thine last words in it. Strange to read and hard to understand.
They say:

Thy flesh will rot
And disappear!
Thy soul will not,
For those who fear!

Find a new way,
Tis said it will.
And shining grey
For justice still.

But til the day
When justice done
Sleep it may
Then mighty come!

Dost grip thy staff
The ancient hand
And spread the news
Throughout the land.

Many of Mad Biker's friends showed up. Here's the list of them:

Alistair Rudrak, Benu Boine, Folco, Heinrich Tell, Kurt, KugelBlitz, Lew, Lizarda, Lorin, Macbeth the Scot, Rho, Samoth, Uwe.

Thanks again to all of you!
The meal in the house of the Lords of Virtues made me feel better again. My friends really offered me help and consolation.
