Homo homini lupus
ne day I was again lumberjacking out in the forest
near Occlo, as suddenly an exhausted messenger headed towards me.
'Milord ...'
'Aye, how may I help thee?' I stopped chopping the wood.
'I bring you a message from Sage Humbolt, he is preparing to destroy the liches Lathiari
and Kyrnia.'
The names of these vile creatures made me shiver.
'Seek him or Sage Winslow at the library in Britain to help. Milord, I have to go now to
contact some more heroes to aid Humbolt.' He bowed and rode away, leaving a puzzled
KugelBlitz behind.

I got ready at once and left for the
public library in Britain. Sage Winslow was already there and greeted the arriving
warriors. He told us that Sage Humbolt is in the depths of Deceit to fight the evil
liches, as he suddenly stopped. 'Hold on, undead are attacking to the north. In the graveyard..', he shouted out. |
| He told us to use a rune marked on the ground. The rune lead us directly to the graveyard north of Britain, where the battle already had started. The first fallen warriors were lying in the dust, skeleton knights greeted us with their deadly blades, lich lords and bone mages yelled their message of ruin and death. | ![]() |
| While making some notices of this slaughter I overlooked the energy vortex heading towards me. Suddenly a heavy pain stroke me and I knew this would be my end. The poison was deadly. | ![]() |

Bewildered I had to watch some fighters
plundering my corpse like jackals. They looted all my valuables from my dead body. A
*very* brave fighter, probably the one who casted the energy vortex, yelled after my death
'Muahaha, 1st Division; Cookie Chefs, learn it!' Well, I learned it and I got his name. May his hair fall out and his teeth all rot; and may his well-known ugliness be visited upon his children, and their children, unto the tenth generation; and may he find that the purses of the beast he dost slay are empty; and, most of all, may orcs and lizardmen always look upon him with lust in their eyes! |

In accompaniment of some other ghosts I
headed back to Britain to make my date with a healer. Equipped with my brand new gray robe
I ran back to the graveyard to see the end of the battle. I saw corpses everywhere and a
fighter running from an Ettin, but it seemed as the creatures were defeated. 'The
liches are dead ...' Lord KugelBlitz, Lord Of Honour |
| Epilogue: As the battle was over some 'noble' and 'very brave' heroes had nothing better to do than casting Blade Spirits among the folks. A lot of honorable warriors found their death and got looted by these cowardly bastards. Homo homini lupus - man is a wolf to man. |
