Magical Enemies

This time it was a giant spider and a grizzly bear attacking me at the same time. No problem, I managed to separate them during the fight, killed the spider first, then the grizzly. That's what I call hunting!
For the next hours I should run into several monsters with magic abilities. I must admit that I didn't defeat any of them, but at least I tried and gained some experience for the future. Despite many magical attacks my Resisting Spells skill sank a little.
I never had a chance against this air elemental. I noticed my reduced health soon enough to have some time to escape and hide. As I was fleeing I came across a knight in shining plate armor. As Arlon Farandril  saw the elemental, he shouted "Avoid it!", took his heels and ran like hell. That really made me smile.
Again I had been poisoned, and I waited in my hiding place for the poison to wear off.
When I felt good again, I couldn't find the elemental. It seemed to have left the place.

Here's a description of what
happened to me, when I was
again wandering through the northern
woods alone. I wrote it down in my
diary to give you an idea of what
might happen if you should plan to go
without any company:

I had been lucky. My hiding skill
finally worked and I waited for the
monsters to leave.

It begins to snow.
You see no evidence of monsters in the area.
You see: An Orcish mage
(I was treating the Orcis mage with my axe.)
You feel yourself resisting magical energy!
Mad Biker: I feel woozy and ill.
(The Orc had poisoned me! I decided to run away and hide to avoid another death.)
Mad Biker: You can't seem to hide here.
Mad Biker: You can't seem to hide here.
You must wait a few moments to use another skill.
Mad Biker: You can't seem to hide here.
Mad Biker: You can't seem to hide here.
Mad Biker: I feel woozy and ill.
You see: an ettin
(Shocking! My hiding skill failed permanently as another opponent was appearing next to me!)
Mad Biker: You can't seem to hide here.
You cannot eat while fighting.
Mad Biker: You can't seem to hide here.
Mad Biker: I feel woozy and ill.
Mad Biker: You can't seem to hide here.
You must wait a few moments to use another skill.
Mad Biker: You have hidden yourself well.
After eating the food, you feel much less hungry.
Mad Biker: I feel woozy and ill.
You are simply too full to eat any more!
Mad Biker: The poison seems to have worn off.
