Battleteam's First Tournament
oday was a big day! The Battleteam of the guild Protectors of
Moonglow had organized a tournament where warriors and mages could measure their powers.
The meeting point was at the assembly hall in Moonglow, where Mutabor the counselor
welcomed us all. Many brave and famous fighters had gathered, and after a small speech of
Mutabor we were gated to the secret battle ground.

When we arrived, we experienced a bad surprise: One especially "brave" man named Zyper, who lived in the house next to the tournament area, killed wordlessly our three fighters, because they had a bad reputation (they had to, to make the combat possible without noto loss). He did that despite we told him to stop and it was just a tournament taking place, because he claimed this to be "his private property". Very funny! Finally he seemed to have satisfied his thirst for blood, and the combat could begin. |
The battles were exciting and the
spectators had a lot of fun watching mages and warriors fight against
the three
"evil" opponents. |

Unfortunately the tournament had to be interrupted before it was brought to an end, because about five murderer-hunters appeared and disturbed us by killing our combat opponents again. That was when I asked myself, whether there existed anything like nobility and justice in Britannia. The so-called "noble" and "great lords" often killed everyone who seemed to have a bad reputation without even asking or talking about it.
