Monster Hunting near Yew

ne day KugelBlitz and I planned to take the moongate to Yew. The area around Yew was said to be less cleaned from monsters then the Trinsic region.
This would be my first travel to a different city and a to me unknown area! I was excited to use the moongate for the first time. Would it really take us where we wanted? I finally followed KugelBlitz who stepped into the gate, and after two transmissions I found myself in the forests of Yew. We were there!
Now we were heading north-east to an area which is said to be haunted by monsters many times.

And really, as soon as we reached the coast we almost bumped into an Ettin. KugelBlitz attacked him first and fought him with his halberd and magical power. Then suddenly, as we almost had slain the two-headed giant, an Ogre came into sight and attacked us at once. It was the first Ogre I had ever seen! This time I was taking care of the Ogre while KugelBlitz was giving the Ettin what he had earned. The Ogre was a little weaker than the Ettin, so it was no big deal killing him in a companion of two. We split up the loot and I was making a nice barbecue again from the two monsters.

The area was really crowded with evil creatures and so there were also many brave fighters around who even let their tamed animals attack the monsters. Anyway, this troll didn't have a chance in the first place... The Mongbats we hunted were no big challenge for us anymore, and so we decided to leave again.

After a successful day of hunting we were heading back to the moongate in order to reach Trinsic before dusk. We came across these  typical mammoth trees you only can find in the forests around Yew. A unique and rare experience in Britannia! This had been a day of exciting adventures, and my experience grows on every step I take through the strange wilderness of Britannia.
