Taking Revenge

The Guild of Freedom had organized a caravan to sell a large collection of all kind of wares.
As I was told afterwards, the caravan had started in Britain and took the road towards Minoc to sell the goods to travellers. They were 3 vendors and 4 guards, well equipped with magic items, weapons and other wares.
I was just fighting a bunch of orcs near the guild tower of the Guild of Freedom, as a messenger on horseback approached. Sweating and breathless he jumped off his horse and gasped: "Quick, come! The caravan needs thy help! They have just been attacked in the swamps south-west from here."
I left the orcs by themselves and ran off at once. Soon I reached the swamp, but could not discover any caravan. Everywhere I saw the traces of combat and murder: Bolts, corpses, blood. A cold shiver ran down my back.

As I was standing there and thinking two murderers appeared, armed with heavy crossbows, and attacked me wordlessly. I knew these deadly weapons just too well, and ran like hell. Unfortunately I was still weakened from fighting the orcs, so they caught up quickly.
Suddenly A stinging pain flashed through my whole body and I fell to the ground. A bolt stuck in my back and with my blurred view I saw the evil grimaces of Dread Lord Strife and Sir Pain bowing over my dying body.
After I got resurrected at the Shrine of Compassion I went back to the guild tower. There I met what was left of the caravan: five members of the guild without armor, weapon or any other equipment. They told me the rest of the story.
The caravan had been held up and attacked in the middle of the swamp, right after they had defeated four ratmen. The two killers (those who had killed me afterwards) shook up the whole caravan and slayin almost everybody. They robbed all the wares and equipment.
Somehow the whole story was so ridiculous I couldn't help laughing, despite the seriousness of this incident. Two killers massacring seven fighters and vendors. Incredible!
However, we had all learned our lesson and would organize everything different the next time.
Suddenly another killer appeared. Seeing us in our simple dresses he kept us for a bunch of newbies and attacked us immediately with his heavy crossbow. The anger rose inside of me and full of rage I ran after him calling "Kill me!" to provoke him to stop and attack me. I don't know what had happened to me, but I wanted nothing else but kill this evil Mathrim Cauthon. We all seemed to think alike and pursued him. I crammed the halberd I had found previously out of my backpack and attacked the Dread Lord. He tried to hide several times, but we always discovered him.
After hunting him for quite some time he finally came to halt in front of me. This was my chance to take revenge! "Now you will pay for thine deeds!" I shouted and swung my halberd at him. My friends had weakened him before, so he collapsed after a few of my blows. My compassionate thirst for vengeance had been satisfied, and I took the head and his dress from his dying body.
I was feeling better now and shouted loudly "REVENGE!" to show everyone that my thirst for blood has now been satisfied.
We headed back to the guild tower to calm down and rest for a while.
Proudly I showed everyone my trophy, the head and the dress. We all felt quite good now, and decided to add the prey to the wares of the next caravan. Of course we had looted this scum with pleasure!
We celebrated our success and drank just a little too much of this good Britannian ale. We had a lot of fun until late in the night. Exhausted we all sank down and slept a deep and peaceful sleep.
