Hunting the Silver Wolf

On my way to the city of moonglow I was wandering across the small island, to enjoy the quietness, the peace and the smell of the clean air. This is the place where I wanted to spend the end of my days...
I came across a small beautiful farm house. White flowers were planted along the wooden walls and made the place look peaceful. But it wasn't. When I knocked and entered a sad looking farmer welcomed me.

I asked him what was wrong, and I was astonished to hear his answer.
He told me that a silver wolf haunted this area, and they were even afraid to leave the house, for the beast attacked every living creature. He asked me for assistance getting rid of this horror.
I agreed and left the grateful farmer, to look out for this threat.
The farmer had told me to head northeast, so I walked in this direction, tracking for any animals. Then suddenly, not far from the farm, I saw this bunch of wolves! My heart began to beat faster. It was four of them, and I knew the grey and dire wolves can be dangerous. One of them always kept back and seemed to watch the scenery from a secure distance. He had a strange color, not really silver, but somehow light grey with a shade of golden.
The beasts attacked me immediately. It was a hard fight. I had to retreat and hide two times, to refresh my reactive armor spell. Then finally the three wolves were defeated. But there was one left!
The silver wolf watched me through his glistening cunning eyes. Then I stepped forward, lifted my halberd and attacked! Damn, this beast made the hell of a damage to me! When my reactive armor had worn off, a single bite of it took about 10 percent of my life energy!
Finally, with 15 percent of my health remaining, the silver wolf sank growling to the ground, lying in his blood. I took his fur and headed back to the farmer.
When I showed them the fur, the farmer and his wife were so relieved and grateful, that they gave ma a magic plate as a reward. Later I identified it as a breast plate of protection and guarding with 32 charges!
