A Foolish Murderer

nce again I was striding across the
peaceful meadows to visit the Shrine of Justice, when a person with an obviously bad
reputation crossed my way. I didn't want to pay any attention to him, but he blocked my
way. Aggressively he lifted up his war axe.I told him that I was a pilgrim and looting me would not be worthwhile. But the fool seemed to have no experience. He felt safe, because I didn't wear an armor or a weapon. |

The fool - Deadly Son was his name -
made a big mistake. I pulled a chainmail out of my backpack, put it on, and took my
practicing sword. Once again I warned him, but he didn't listen. I knew he would regret
it. I didn't like to use my weapon against humans, but this event almost had a funny touch. I hit him about 7 or 8 times with my cheap sword and his dead body dropped to the ground. I never before had met such an inexperienced person without brains. |
| I couldn't help laughing as I looted the
corpse of the Dead Son. I took all he had, and the next poor guy in town was very happy
about the ringmail armor, the weapon and the other stuff. I hoped this mislead silly-billy had learned his lesson and changed his way of living. |
