Sorcall the Woodrunner

In the meantime I had become a Master Warrior. My notoriety had risen to Noble, so I now was The Noble Mad Biker, Master Warrior. I felt good and full of power, but decided not to show it in the public and keep it for myself. I put the gleaming armor back into the bank box, took my old orc helm and the green robe. I didn't want to impress with my title and armor, but with deeds.
Today I met a good friend. Sorcall was someone who tried to explore the secrets of Britannia just like me. His home were the woods of Yew, a place where he hunted, lived and spent most of his time. I never asked him, why his heart was bound to these woods. Maybe the reason lies far away in the past...

Before we started our journey we went to the chapel in Yew and sent a prayer to the Gods of Britannia, begging for peace and protection.

Sorcall first showed me the Jails of Yew. It was not easy getting to the entrance, for the gates to the huge building were on an island which could not be reached directly. Fortunately we both were able to use the Teleport spell, thus helping us reaching our destination.

The building was a house of justice and lawsuit. We saw large courtrooms and a library, but it seemed the premises never had been used by any kind of legislative power. Maybe one day, if the evil and dishonorable prospers more and more in Britannia, these rooms will be used to judge the mislead.

Then we visited the unused prisons. When I saw the stone walls, the barred doors and the cold floor, immediately some persons came into my mind whom I would like to see in these rooms. Persons who took the life of friends and my own life, who looted the own partners without any scruples and killed cowardly under the protection of their so-called nobility.
I had to fight the hatred inside of me, because revenge was not the right way to treat this scum. It just would make them continuing on their path even faster.
After this exciting sightseeing tour Sorcall showed me through the woods of Yew, a place I knew very well from my former journeys. Strangely the wood was full of animals, but neither monster nor human was around. It was like being in a zoo! We sat down by a campfire and talked about the old days, eating cooked goat steak. It had been  an exciting day! I hope I will meet Sorcall again in the future.
