A Looter at Covetous

ne day I met KugelBlitz again. I welcomed my friend. It had been a long time since we were adventuring together. I had become strong in the meantime, and we wanted to experience Covetous together this time.
We passed the first two caves slaying lots of harpies and rats. Finally we reached a strange gate with two statues in front of it. What would expect us behind this door?

The dungeon here looked different to the previous. Carefully we stepped into the dimly lit tunnel, looking out for monsters.
Suddenly a ghoul appeared. He was tough, but we defeated him together. Then we entered a great hall with a large red carpet on the floor. Blood was spilled here, as we could see by the stains on the carpet.
From out of the corner of the hall we heard a strange noise. A Liche stepped in and attacked us immediately with mighty spells. I lost life energy quickly despite of my resisting spells skill. We fought him side by side, but we didn't have a chance. We ran to a door to escape.

I ran through the door, but KugelBlitz was stuck outside, because a guy named Drool stood in his way. He couldn't follow and died after a few seconds. I had to hide in order to prevent the Liche killing me, and I watched Drool looting the corpse of KugelBlitz. I could have slain him for this dreadful deed! It seems that the worst rats in the dungeon were some humans looting innocent corpses!
As soon as my health state was stabilized again and the poison had worn off, I investigated the body of KugelBlitz. The Looter had left most of the stuff except of the magic weapons and reagents for about 1000 gold pieces. The swine!
I took as much as I could carry, and when the Liche was out of sight I ran through the hall reaching the exit safely.

I met the ghost of KugelBlitz and one of the fighters made us a moongate to Occlo. KugelBlitz was resurrected by a friendly guy named SlipKnot and I returned his equipment, or what was left of it.
Should we ever meet this Drool again, he will have nothing to laugh!
