Dungeon Hythloth

This is one of the most dangerous dungeons in Britannia. In fact, it is hell.
Traveller, when you go there and find only imps, hell hounds and gargoyles in the first level, don't underestimate what awaits you deeper down in the dungeon. In level 1 you can also find mysterious creatures like the blistering gargoyles or the fiery gargoyles. Beware of floor traps which are hidden in some places and can cost you your life when you are at low health.
The floor traps can also be found in level 2, but they are the least challenge down there. Also imps, hellhounds, gargoyles and gazers won't cause too much trouble. Beware though of the room in the northeast and the southwest of the dungeon! That's the places where the daemons live! If you want to get down from level 2 to level 3, you have to pass a corridor in the northern part of level 2. If you do not walk exactly the way shown in the picture below, you will not be able to get to the teleporter.
You enter level 3 from the northern stairway. Aside from the monsters you already know from the upper levels, a most dangerous black daemon haunts this place, and a strange dragon creature called the Summa Vixacion has been sighted there too. You'll also see stone gargoyles sometimes.
Level 4 concentrates all daemons, gargoyles, hellhounds and stone gargoyles in a small area. This level is ruled by the Lord of the Abyss though, the most dangerous daemon that exists. In a chamber in the southwestern wing two strange gargoyles - blistering gargoyle and searing gargoyle - can sometimes be seen.
